These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BriskFyr (the "Service"), operated by BriskFyr ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service, as-is

BriskFyr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Engineering-liability notice. Results produced by BriskFyr are for educational and illustrative purposes and are not validated for production engineering decisions — verify independently before relying on them for any design, safety, or certification purpose.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent usage limits, entitlement checks, or security controls; probe, scan, or attack the infrastructure that runs the Service; resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent; or upload content you do not have the right to upload (see §4).

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information to create an account and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the acceptable-use rules above. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how).

4. Intellectual property

BriskFyr owns the platform — the application, its source code, the underlying simulation pipeline, and all associated intellectual property remain our exclusive property.
You own your model inputs — the mechanisms, parameters, and data you create in BriskFyr remain yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to operate and deliver the Service to you (run your simulations, display your results, provide support).
You warrant that you have the necessary rights to any content you upload or import into BriskFyr (including, in future, imported CAD geometry) and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

5. Changes to the Service and these Terms

BriskFyr is under active development; features, limits, and pricing may change as we build toward general availability. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practical).

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

8. Third-party software

BriskFyr uses MBDyn, an independent, free and open-source multibody-dynamics solver developed at the Politecnico di Milano and licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2. MBDyn is a separate project, developed and maintained independently of BriskFyr.

BriskFyr uses MBDyn as-is, without modification, to solve the simulation inputs it generates. BriskFyr does not own MBDyn and makes no claim to it. The MBDyn project and its authors are not affiliated with BriskFyr and do not sponsor or endorse BriskFyr, and are not responsible for BriskFyr, its results, or its availability. Equally, BriskFyr is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or associated with the MBDyn project. All MBDyn names, trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.
